28th Annual Coho Confab

Thursday, August 20, 2026 to Sunday, August 23, 2026
SRF with the support of the California Department of Fish and Wildlife’s Fisheries Restoration Grant Program will convene the 28th Annual Coho Confab at the beautiful Jug Handle Creek Farm and Nature Center on the Mendocino Coast on August 20 - 23, 2026. 
 
This Confab will feature exciting projects on the Mendocino Coast, Navarro River, South Fork Eel and more. Field tour sites will include new large wood projects, water storage, off-channel ponds, riparian restoration, fish passage, and more! Event registration will likely open in June. Please note this year's Confab starts on Thursday evening.
 
 
Lodging:
 
Camping: Please come to the Confab prepared to camp. You should bring a tent, sleeping bag, sleeping pad, pillow, flashlight, water bottle, comfortable shoes, sunscreen, and anything else you would need to be comfortable on the coast in the summer.
 
Cabins: There are bunkhouses and private rooms in the Victorian Farmhouse at Jug Handle Creek Farm available. Lodging must be reserved for all 3 nights and pricing ranges based on room style. To check availability or to reserve lodging and make payment, please email lindsay@calsalmon.org.
