Humboldt Bay Aquaculture

Salmonid Restoration Federation (SRF) was recently awarded a grant from the Rose Foundation For Communities and the Environment for aquaculture research, outreach, and education in Humboldt Bay during the next year.

This page will be used to provide resources to the community regarding current aquaculture projects and propsals for the Humboldt Bay Area. Our initial focus will be on the aquaculture facility proposed by Nordic AquaFarms.

Nordic Aquafarms is holding weekly meetings for the Humboldt Bay community to learn more about their proposed project.

Nordic Aquafarms will submit its National Pollutant Discharge Elimination System (NPDES) permit application this coming week.
