Bay Area Steelhead Summit

SRF with the support of CDFW, Alameda Creek Alliance, DeSilva Gates Construction, and the Center for Biological Diversity, will convene the Bay Area Steelhead Summit on November 5 - 7, 2026 in Pleasanton, CA. 
 

The agenda will highlight status reports on steelhead from key watersheds around the Bay Area, recent fish passage projects, steelhead monitoring efforts, examples of restoration, and steelhead recovery planning.

 

CALL FOR ABSTRACTS: Please complete this form to submit an abstract for the Steelhead Summit General Assembly on November 5. Submissions are due Friday, September 4, 2026.
 

The event will also include a Plenary session, a evening Poster Session, and concurrent field tours that focused on East Bay monitoring and restoration projects. Full Agenda TBA.

 

THURSDAY POSTER SESSION & RECEPTION: we welcome your participation in the 2026 Bay Area Steelhead Summit Poster Session that will be held Thursday, November 5, 2026, from 6 - 8 pm at the  DoubleTree by Hilton Hotel Pleasanton at the Club.  Please register for the poster session by October 21, 2026. Please note this event is only for people registered for the full Steelhead Summit.
