14th Annual Coho Confab
Salmonid Restoration Federation and the Trees Foundation hosted the 14th Annual Coho Confab at Rock Creek on the South Fork of the Smith River in Del Norte County from August 19-21, 2011. This event was also sponsored by the CA Department of Fish and Wildlife, the Smith River Alliance, and California State Parks.
The Confab was a huge success with over 60 participants. Confab highlights included field tours to Mill Creek state park where Rocco Fiori has done experimental wood loading, a fish passage project tour, underwater fish identification, macroinvertebrate sampling, and a tour of Yurok tribe projects at Terwer Creek in the Lower Klamath.
