
2026 Spring-Run Chinook Symposium
Thursday, July 23, 2026 to Friday, July 24, 2026
Salmon River Restoration Council (SRRC) and Salmonid Restoration Federation, with the support of California Department of Fish & Wildlife, Catena Foundation, and Humboldt Area Foundation, co-hosted the Spring-Run Chinook Symposium on July 23 - 24, 2026. The symposium took place in Forks of Salmon in conjunction with the Annual Cooperative Salmon River Spring Chinook & Summer Steelhead Dive. It featured both presentations and field tours, offering opportunities to learn more about Spring Chinook research and recovery efforts in the Klamath Basin, and view restoration projects in a Spring Chinook stronghold.
