Christine Burchinal

Christine was born and raised in San Jose, CA. She grew up hiking, backpacking, and frolicking in natural spaces with family, which instilled a connection to and desire to protect and conserve natural resources. She served two terms with the Watershed Stewards Program (WSP), where she built extensive field experience across Trinity, Humboldt, and Mendocino Counties, including streamflow and water quality monitoring, stream habitat surveys, meadows delineations, spawner and snorkel surveys, and the design, development, and implementation of instream habitat restoration projects.

Nancy Stevens

Nancy is originally from the East Coast and relocated to Humboldt County in 2000, drawn by the region’s towering redwoods and wild rivers. Shortly after arriving, she was invited to participate in a training to identify and count salmon redds—an experience that launched close to two decades of work blending her business operations expertise in support of watershed restoration and conservation throughout the region.

Chris Tevini

Chris has extensive experience in the field of California native salmonids. Christopher has dedicated over 7 years to working with Northern California salmon. During his time as a fisheries technician with Cal Poly Humboldt, he made significant contributions to the Humboldt Bay Coho monitoring program. He holds a Bachelor of Science in Biology with a concentration in Ecology from Cal Poly Humboldt.

Denise Dills

Denise grew up in San Rafael, and has lived in California all her life. She has raised three boys, and has had her own bookkeeping business since 1987. She enjoys doing bookkeeping; but her passion is helping with wildlife rescue and rehabilitation.
