Nancy Stevens
Role:
Nancy is originally from the East Coast and relocated to Humboldt County in 2000, drawn by the region’s towering redwoods and wild rivers. Shortly after arriving, she was invited to participate in a training to identify and count salmon redds—an experience that launched close to two decades of work blending her business operations expertise in support of watershed restoration and conservation throughout the region.
Nancy currently serves as a Board Member of the Humboldt Bay Municipal Water District, where she sits on the Water Rights and Instream Flows Committees. She works part-time and when outside the office, is deeply engaged in strengthening the local arts community by supporting the production of year-round events.
