Denise Dills

Denise grew up in San Rafael, and has lived in California all her life. She has raised three boys, and has had her own bookkeeping business since 1987. She enjoys doing bookkeeping; but her passion is helping with wildlife rescue and rehabilitation.

Lindsay Davis Kelsey

Lindsay was born and raised in Tempe, AZ. She earned a bachelor’s degree in Art History with a focus in Modernism and Documentary Arts from Northern Arizona University in Flagstaff, AZ. Prior to joining SRF, Lindsay worked in various hospitality and outdoor industries across Arizona, Oregon, and Switzerland. She moved to Humboldt County in 2020 and began working with SRF as the Project Assistant in March of 2021. She is proud to support SRF’s mission of promoting restoration and stewardship of California's salmonids and waterways. 

 

Katrina Nystrom Sheldon, M.S.

Katrina Nystrom Sheldon has ten years of experience in the environmental science, fisheries, and the restoration field. Katrina received a Bachelor of Arts in Geography at Humboldt State University in 2010 and a Master of Science in Natural Resources option in Environmental Science and Management from Humboldt State University in December 2020.

2021 Large Wood Technical Field School

SRF and Trout Unlimited will produced a Large Wood Field School focused on engineered and non-engineered large wood restoration techniques on the Mendocino Coast.

Michael Dixon

A northern CA native, Mike Dixon currently manages the Trinity River Restoration Program (TRRP). The TRRP is a partnership of eight federal, tribal, state, and local entities applying process-based techniques to restore the anadromous fisheries of the Trinity River. Mike previously worked as a conservation planner and later as a national wildlife refuge manager, both for the U.S. Fish & Wildlife Service in Colorado, where he became involved in stream restoration and endangered species recovery efforts. Mike also serves as a commissioned officer in the U.S.
