41st Annual Conference Registration Now Open
The 41st Annual Salmonid Restoration Conference will be held in Santa Rosa, California from March 26-29, 2024. Conference registration is now open and the sessionsworkshops, and field tour agendas are now posted.

SRF Conference - Call for Award Nominations
Due February 11, 2024
Please submit 200 words or more to nominate candidates for the illustrious Restorationist of the Year Award, the Golden Pipe Award for Innovation, the Lifetime Achievement Award, and the Gordon Becker Memorial River Advocate Award. Please find descriptions of the awards page. 
These awards will be presented at the 2024 Salmonid Restoration Conference Banquet. Nominations should be sent to srf@calsalmon.org by February 11, 2024. Please write "Award Nominations" in the subject line.

2024 Conference Mentorship Program
Sign up as a Mentor or Mentee!
To welcome first-time attendees, students, young professionals, and people from historically underrepresented groups, SRF is continuing our mentorship program. Each Mentee will be matched with one Mentor. Through a series of brief one-on-one meetings before, during, and after the annual conference, Mentors will help Mentees make good use of their time at the conference, provide networking opportunities, share career advice, and perhaps even build lasting connections. Visit our website to learn more and fill out this interest form!

41st Annual SRF Conference Hotel Group Blocks, Book Now, Co-sponsors, FAQs, and more

SRF is going big for the 41st Annual Salmonid Restoration Conference to ensure that the conference does not sell out early next year like we did in 2023. SRF will be hosting the conference at the beautiful Hyatt Wine Country Sonoma in downtown Santa Rosa and we have set up great hotel blocks. Hotel rooms will sell out before the conference registration does so please reserve your hotel rooms early. Featured Workshop: Fish & Fire
The West suffers simultaneously from too much fire and not enough. Fire exclusion has led to habitat loss while fire suppression activities can threaten aquatic habitats. This workshop will explore cross-disciplinary connections, identifying management implications and opportunities, and daylight potential synergies in policy and action. Learn more here.

This all-day tour features salmonid habitat enhancement projects and monitoring programs on both private and public lands within the Dry Creek Basin. We will highlight enhancement strategies that address salmonid recovery and that provide resilient long-term solutions. Learn more here.

2024 SRF Conference - Poster Session Now Open
The Poster Session will be 7-10 pm on Thursday, March 28 at the conference venue. This annual event is open to all conference attendees and is a great venue to network with your peers.

Israel Family Fund Seeds Conference Scholarship Fund
SRF is thrilled that the Israel Family Fund is making a multi-year contribution to SRF's Conference scholarship fund.  Please consider contributing to the conference scholarship fund so we can continue to offer scholarships to students, tribal members, and other young professionals. SRF will match each dollar contributed.

Siskiyou Water Transaction Workshop 
Fort Jones, February 21, 2024
SRF, Trout Unlimited, and Scott River Watershed Council will host a Water Transaction workshop at 5pm on February 21, 2024, in coordination with the Scott Watershed Informational Forum (SWIF). This workshop is designed for landowners, practitioners, and agency staff to learn more about appropriative and riparian water rights, different forms of water transactions, and the permitting pathways for various types of water projects both domestic and agricultural. Learn more here.

Berkeley River Restoration Symposium

The 19th annual Berkeley River Restoration Symposium is 9am-3:30pm on Saturday, December 9 on the UC Berkeley campus, in the auditorium of Bauer Wurster Hall. The symposium is free, in person, and open to the public. Please register to reserve your program and coffee.
