SRF Conference Advanced Registration Closes March 22

The 37th Annual Salmonid Restoration Conference is April 23-26 in Santa Rosa, CA. This conference is expected to sell out. Advanced registration pricing ends on March 22.

Pre-Register for the SRF Poster Session 

SRF welcomes your attendance and participation in the 37th Annual Salmonid Restoration Conference Poster Session that will be held Thursday, April 25, 2019 from 7 – 10 pm at the Finley Community Centerin Santa Rosa, CA. Please note that you must be registered for the Conference in order to participate in the Poster Session.

SRF Conference Urban Creek Workshop and Field Tour 

This workshop will go beyond urban stream restoration focused on channels and streambanks to also include floodplain restoration, flood hazard reduction, water quality improvements, and trails and other recreational facilities in urban settings. Presentations will focus on various design methodologies and ways to work with landowners, municipalities, regulators, local residents, and conservation organizations to accomplish large comprehensive urban stream projects. The afternoon will include a field tour to urban creek projects in the City of Santa Rosa including the Prince Memorial Greenway and Colgan Creek. SRF Conference Dutch Bill Watershed Streamflow Improvement and Coho Recovery Tour

This full-day field tour will focus on Dutch Bill Creek Watershed, considered to be one of the most critical watersheds for the recovery of endangered Coho salmon and steelhead in the lower Russian River watershed. For two decades there have been a comprehensive suite of strategies utilized by multi-stakeholder to restore this watershed from ridgeline to river mouth. Click here for a full tour description.


SRF Annual Meeting, Membership Dinner, and Film Screening of The Breach

Please join SRF for our Annual Membership Meeting on Wednesday, April 24 followed by a fabulous membership dinner and film screening of The Breach. You do not need to be a member to attend. Sign up for this event via the SRF Conference Registration.


SRF Received the Annual Water Quality Stewardship Award

The North Coast Regional Water Quality Control Board recently awarded SRF the Annual Water Quality Stewardship Award for our work producing the annual Salmonid Restoration Conference and promoting flow enhancement strategies in the South Fork Eel River.

2019 Fisheries Habitat Restoration PSN Now Open

California Department of Fish and Wildlife’s Fisheries Habitat Restoration PSN is now online.
CDFW is hosting workshops throughout the state. To see all of the documents related to the solicitation and the schedule of workshops, please click here. The deadline is April 16.


CCSE Post-fire Aquatic and Road Restoration Field School

Central Coast Salmon Enhancement is offering a practical and timely Post-fire Aquatic and Road Restoration Field School at beautiful Cachuma Lake on  April 1-4. This multi-day hands-on technical training session will equip you and your staff with methods for post-fire aquatic and road restoration assessment and rehabilitation. Register here.


SRF Conference Mentor-Mentee Luncheon 

On April 25, SRF will be offering a Mentor-Mentee Luncheon at the Salmonid Restoration Conference. This special event is scheduled  after the Plenary Session and is limited to the first 60 mentees who enroll. Conference registrants will have an opportunity to sign up as part of the survey they will be emailed after they register for the Conference.
