2022 SRF Conference Registration Closing Soon

Conference Registration Will Close on April 12

Please register for the 39th Annual Salmonid Restoration Conference to ensure that you can attend. SRF is closing registration a week in advance of the conference, April 12. SRF will be requiring proof of vaccination and booster shots or recent (within 24 hours) PCR test results. SRF has arranged on-site testing each morning of the conference and we will follow all CDC and Santa Cruz public health guidelines to produce a safe event.

2022 SRF Conference Poster Session
Poster Registration Will Close on April 12

The Poster Session is 7-10 pm on Thursday, April 21 at the Cocoanut Grove (the conference venue). This annual event is open to all conference attendees and is a great venue to network with your peers.

2022 Membership Social
April 20, 2022, 6-9:30pm

The SRF Membership Social is a fun-filled evening of networking, celebration, and fine food. You do not need to be a member to attend this special event that will be held at the Santa Cruz Veteran’s Memorial Center which is a historic landmark in the heart of beautiful downtown Santa Cruz. Come enjoy a great meal and libations with colleagues and enjoy honky tonk music with Edge of the West. Learn more here.


2022 Membership Meeting
April 21, 2022, 12:30-1:30pm

The Annual SRF Membership Meeting will be after the Plenary session in the Bay View Room at the Cocoanut Grove. This event is open to all and offers an opportunity to meet other members as well as SRF's dedicated Board of Directors and staff. SRF's Executive Director, Dana Stolzman, will provide an update on our accomplishments over the past year as well as our plans and projects for the coming year. Learn more here.


2022 Conference Banquet & Silent Auction
April 22, 2022, 6:30pm

The SRF Banquet will feature wild salmon, an awards ceremony and cabaret, and a live band Papida and Friends of Sambada. The banquet tends to sell out so please register in advance.
 
The banquet and the poster session will also include a silent auction with fine wines, Patagonia gear, tools, art, and other fabulous items. Please use this form if you would like to contribute an item for the annual silent auction.
 
This event usually sells out so please purchase your ticket in advance of the conference using the registration form here or by using our online PayPal form

2022 Erosion and Sediment Control Workshop

June 13-16, 2022

Salmonid Restoration Federation is hosting an Erosion and Sediment Control Field School. This technical field course is part of our Northern California Best Management Practices Education Series funded by the California Department of Fish and Wildlife’s Fisheries Restoration Grant Program. SRF is partnering with Pacific Watershed Associates, Five Counties Salmonid Conservation Program, and the Watershed Center to offer a technical workshop and field tour curriculum in Trinity County. 24th Annual Coho Confab

September 9-11, 2022, South Fork Eel River

Join SRF, California Department of Fish and Wildlife, Eel River Watershed Improvement Group, Cal Trout, Eel River Critical Observatory, Pacific Watershed Associates, Trout Unlimited, and other restoration partners in this exciting Confab on the banks of the South Fork Eel River. This Confab will feature fish passage projects, upslope sediment remediation, large wood projects, and a suite of other techniques that are implemented or are being planned in this critical watershed.

2022 SRF Conference Event App

This year's conference will feature a software application, made by Cvent, developed for mobile devices like smartphones and tablets that attendees can access before, during, and after the conference. From the app, they can find key conference information, manage their schedule, reference the proceedings, and more. SRF will be inviting attendees to join the app this week. 


2022 FRGP Solicitation
Due: April 15, 2022 

CDFW is now accepting applications for projects under the Fisheries Restoration Grant Program (FRGP). The 2022 FRGP Proposal Solicitation Notice (PSN) and 2022 FRGP Guidelines  outlines the priorities and requirements to apply. The deadline for applications is April 15, 2022, by 3:00 p.m. PT. Applications must be submitted via CDFW WebGrants.


COVID-19 Testing

SRF is partnering with Lightspeed Testing to provide no-cost COVID testing at the Conference. Lightspeed is no longer being reimbursed by the US Government for COVID testing. Please take the time to add your insurance card when you pre-register to keep their donated time and financial costs down.
