The 43rd Annual Conference will be held in Redding, California on April 28 - May 1, 2026. The Final Call for Proposals deadline has been extended to Monday, September 8, 2025. To submit a proposal for a workshop, session, or field tour, please fill out this form. The First Call for Abstracts will be posted in mid-September 2025. All questions can be emailed to abstracts@calsalmon.org.

Two Scholarships Available to the Central Coast Erosion and Sediment Control Field School
With support from CDFW, SRF will be offering two full scholarships to the Erosion and Sediment Control Field School from November 11 - 13, 2025 at Camp Arroyo Grande in San Luis Obispo County. Applicants do not need to pre-register for the field school in order to submit a scholarship application. SRF will prioritize underrepresented members of the watershed restoration field including but not limited to, tribal members, students, and rural landowners. Please use this form to apply.
SRF at the Annual North Country Fair

SRF will share a booth with Friends of the Eel at the annual North Country Fair in Arcata this September. Stop by to learn about updates on our low-flow monitoring program on tributaries to the South Fork Eel, ongoing restoration projects, the Tribal Capacity & Climate Resilience Program, and other upcoming educational opportunities. Friends of the Eel will be sharing the latest information regarding efforts to restore flow to the Eel River. SRF will also have freshly stocked merchandise for sale.

Cal Poly Margie Caisley Conservation Engineering Award
This fund established an annual award for students with undergraduate experience in Engineering or the sciences of Fisheries, Geology, Hydrology, or Watershed and Wildland Sciences interested in pursuing a graduate degree in Environmental Systems in the focus area of Environmental Resource Engineering at Cal Poly Humboldt.
