The 35th Annual Salmonid Restoration Conference will be an extraordinary educational opportunity, and just as importantly, will offer a chance to celebrate California's restoration and salmon culture by featuring exciting special events where participants can mingle and enjoy excellent food and entertainment. Tickets are still available for the following special events and we hope that you can join us:
Annual Membership Meeting, Dinner, and Film Screening
Thursday, March 30
The Annual Membership Meeting and Dinner offers an opportunity to meet other members as well as Salmonid Restoration Federation's (SRF) dedicated Board of Directors and staff. During the meeting, members will enjoy refreshments while SRF's Executive Director, Dana Stolzman, provides an update on our accomplishments over the past year, as well as our plans and trajectory for the coming year.
We are pleased to announce that this year's film screening will be of Return of the River:
Return of the River follows a group of strong-minded committed people as they attempt the impossible: to change the public opinion of a town and eventually the nation to bring a dam down. The community comes to a consensus, setting the Elwha River free and showing the way to more sustainable future. Amid grim environmental news, Return of the River is a film infused with hope.
Please purchase tickets in advance when you register for the conference, as there is no guarantee they will be available for purchase at the door. You do not need to be a current SRF member in order to attend the dinner.
The Conference Banquet and Cabaret
Saturday, April 1
The Saturday evening banquet is one of the most highly anticipated events at the Annual Salmonid Restoration Conference.
The cost of a banquet ticket includes a delicious dinner, a silent auction, the awards ceremony, a Cabaret, and live music and dancing. Friends and family are welcome to purchase a ticket to the banquet even if they are not registered for the conference.
We are excited to announce this year's banquet performers, The Nibblers:
"The Nibblers is a 7 piece rocking soul funk explosion, inciting a dance floor melee throughout Northern California with a riotous update on vintage Soul and R&B. With a combination of funky New Orleans inspired horns, soulful vocals, and hard hitting beats, the band is rapidly gaining a reputation as the go to fix for hardcore groove junkies."
