Katrina Nystrom Sheldon has ten years of experience in the environmental science, fisheries, and the restoration field. Katrina received a Bachelor of Arts in Geography at Humboldt State University in 2010 and a Master of Science in Natural Resources option in Environmental Science and Management from Humboldt State University in December 2020.

Currently Katrina is the Project Coordinator at the Salmonid Restoration Federation where she runs the streamflow monitoring program. Previous appointments include Stream Geomorphology Field Technician and Crew Leader with the HSU River Institute, Teaching Associate for Environmental Methods at HSU, Land and Water Program Coordinator at Sanctuary Forest, and Fisheries Technician with Pacific States Marine Fisheries Commission.
