Salmonid Restoration Federation (SRF) and American Fisheries Society Cal-Neva (AFS Cal-Neva) would like to invite you to participate in the 28th Annual Salmonid Restoration Federation and 44th Annual AFS Cal-Neva Conference Poster Session that will be held Friday, March 12, 2010 from 7 – 10 pm in the auditorium of the Redding Convention Center. The Poster Session is a great venue to share information about your work, company, agency or non-profit and to collaborate with your peers.  We encourage posters, pamphlet distribution, software exhibits and multimedia (video) presentations. 

Poster Session Info

  • The poster session will be from 7-10pm on Friday, March 12, 2010 in the Auditorium of the Redding Convention Center at 700 Auditorium Drive in Redding. There will also be a reception and silent raffle.
  • This year AFS will be hosting a “Fisheries Job Fair.” Please bring job announcements to post and sign-up for a shift where you can do outreach to prospective employees in the fisheries science and habitat restoration field. Please send your contact person's name, affiliation and contact information, and a brief description of your company and/or the information you will be presenting.
  • Set up for the session will be between 5:15pm -6:45pm on Friday, March 12 after the Friday afternoon concurrent session. If you have special needs, please let us know what they are in advance. Poster session presenters must take their presentation down immediately after the poster session.
  • SRF & AFS will provide rectangular tables and access to power if you request it in advance. Please bring your own display boards because there will be minimal wall space available. Please let us know in advance if you need access to power as electrical outlets are limited and granted on a first-request basis. Please bring your own extension cord, surge protectors, free-standing display if possible, and any AV equipment you need. Piping and draping are available if you come early and set-up your own table.
  • You will need to register for the conference to attend.  If you don’t already have a registration form, please see our website at.http://www.calsalmon.org/ to download a form or you can register online.
  • The Convention Center is a fairly large and accommodating space.  If you have colleagues you think may be interested, please feel free to forward this email.
