What are the conference host hotels? SRF has arranged discounted rates at the following hotels:
The Red Lion (www.redlion.com) is offering rooms for $84/ single room occupancy and $94 for doubles with continental breakfast. For booking information call or (800) 733-5466. The Red Lion is located at 1830 Hilltop Drive. To book the group rate, please call (800) Red-Lion by February 20 and let them know you are attending the SRF & AFS Conference.
The Oxford Suites(http://www.oxfordsuitesredding.com/) is offering double and single rooms for $84 state with a full breakfast and complimentary drinks during happy hour. To book the group rate, please call (530) 221-0100 by February 20. The group code is FISH.

When do the field tours depart and from where? All field tours depart from the Redding Convention Center located at 700 Auditorium Drive. If you are going on a field tour please arrive early so you can pack a lunch and be ready to depart at 9am. Tours will return by 5 pm. Please come prepared with a water bottle, rain gear, and hiking boots.
How can I apply for work-trade positions at the conference? SRF has limited number of work trade opportunities available. Work trade positions require 12 volunteer hours for SRF members and 14 hours for non-members. Work trade positions will only cover the conference fees and Proceedings. Field tours, workshops, and the banquet are separate. Work trade opportunities will be offered on a first come first serve basis. Work trade recipients must fill out a registration form and send it to SRF, PO Box 784, Redway, CA 95560 or fax it to (707) 923-3135 by February 15, 2010. Please bring your own display board. If you would like a poster abstract in the Proceedings, please submit an abstract by February 15.
Should I sign up for field tours and the Banquet in advance or can I decide at the conference?
Space is limited for the field tours and the Cabaret and Banquet. SRF expects that the banquet and field tours will sell out. We strongly advise advance registration to ensure that you can go on a field tour and attend the banquet. The Banquet includes a wild salmon dinner, local wine and beer, the awards ceremony, a Cabaret, and a dance with Absynth Quintet.
How can I nominate someone for an award?

If I am a presenter, do I need to fill out a registration form?
Yes, every person attending the conference needs to submit a registration form. If you are a presenter, please check the presenter box in the top right hand corner of the form. You can download a registration form from SRF’s web site at www.calsalmon.org Please mail your registration form to SRF, PO Box 784 or fax it to (707) 923-3135.
If I register for a workshop or tour that is full will I be able to get a refund?
