26th Annual Salmonid Restoration Conference Logistics
The 26th Annual Salmonid Restoration Conference is this March 5-8 at Hutchins Street Square at 125 South Hutchins Street in Lodi, CA.

All conference activities are at this facility. Wednesday and Thursday field tours and workshops start at 9am. If you are attending a field tour, please arrive by 8:30 am to pick up your registration packet and to pack a lunch for the tour. Come prepared with hiking shoes, a water bottle, and a rain jacket.
26th Annual Conference Final Agenda
The 26th Annual Salmonid Restoration Conference will be held March 5-8, 2008 in the northern San Joaquin Valley. The conference will feature all-day field tours of Tuolumne and Stanislaus River restoration projects, a Sacramento-San Joaquin Delta Systems Tour, a Fisheries Monitoring and Management tour, and half-day workshops and tours of fish-friendly vineyards, and the Cosumnes River Preserve. Workshops will include Fins and Zins: Sustainable Agriculture and Watershed Management, Fish Passage: Managing Flows on Regulated Rivers and Streams, Floodplain Restoration, and Invasive Species.
The Plenary session will feature Dorothy Green, founder of Heal the Bay and author of Managing Water: Avoiding Crisis in California , fisheries professor Peter Moyle who will discuss the state of California salmonids and the restoration of the San Joaquin, Tina Swanson, senior scientist of the Bay Institute, will present on Bay Delta recovery issues, and Robert Lackey from the EPA will discuss the Salmon 2100 Project that factors global conditions into long-term projections about salmon recovery around the world.
Concurrent sessions will focus on the policy and biological considerations in formulating the San Joaquin Restoration Program, Recovery Planning models, Central Valley Chinook and Steelhead, and Trout, Restoring Natural Hydrographs, Bay Delta Management, Dam Removal and Salmonid Recovery, Engaging the Community in Salmonid and Watershed Education, and Monitoring and Management issues in the Central Valley.
Wild and Scenic Environmental Film Festival On Tour

Salmonid Restoration Federation is proud to host the Wild and Scenic Environmental Film Festival On Tour as part of the 26th Annual Salmonid Restoration Conference. The Film Festival takes place March 6, 2008, from 6:45pm to 10:00pm, in the Performing Arts Theater in Hutchins Street Square. Films being featured this year are Rita, Tales of the San Joaquin, Oil and Water Project, and the The Edge of Eden: Living with Grizzlies. Tickets are $12 general, $8 students and seniors. Advance tickets can be purchased at Sierra Adventure Outfitters or at the conference. SRF will offer a Mexican feast and a beer garden at the facility prior to the film festival.
