The Salmonid Restoration Federation (SRF) would like to invite
you to participate in the Friday Night Poster Session on March
9, 2007 at the 25th Annual SRF Conference. The Poster Session
is a great event to share information about your work, company,
or agency and to collaborate with your peers. We encourage posters,
pamphlet distribution, software exhibits and multimedia (video)
presentations.
Poster Session Info
• The poster session will be from 7-10pm on Friday March
9, 2007 in atrium of the Wells Fargo Center for the Arts. There
will also be a reception and silent raffle.
• This year SRF is hosting a “Restoration Recruitment
Center.” Please bring job announcements to post and sign-up
for a shift where you can do outreach to prospective employees
in the restoration field.
• Joelle Geppert is the session coordinator. Please contact
her for session reservations or inquired at jgeppert@waterboards.ca.gov
or at 707-576-2346 (email is preferred). Please send your contact
person's name, affiliation and contact information, and a brief
description of your company and/or the information you will be
presenting.
• Set up for the session will be between 4pm -6:45pm on
Friday. (You may come after the conference sessions.) If you have
special needs, please let Joelle know what they are in advance.
(preferably before March 7, 2007) Please be prepared to take your
presentation with you at the conclusion of the evening or when
you depart that night.
• SRF will provide table and wall space, and access to
power if you need it. Please let Joelle know in advance if you
need access to power as outlets are limited at this facility.
Multi-media presentations are always encouraged. Please bring
your own extension cord, surge protectors, free-standing display
if possible, and any AV equipment you need. If you would like
to use any such devices, please let Joelle know how much room
you would like, so that we can play accordingly.
• You will need to register for the conference to attend.
If you don’t already have a registration form, you may
download it here.
• The atrium is a fairly large and accommodating space.
If you have colleagues you think may be interested, please forward
this email.
• While it’s not too late to sign up to present at
the poster session, it is too late to submit abstracts for the
Proceedings.
